The Vultures

Living carcass
Ignorant of prying eyes
Beware

Walking dead
Blind to devilish plots
Awake

Cycling vultures,
Pot Bellied,
Lust Bellied,
Greed Bellied,
Are descending

Asp like claws
Loaded with venom
Lust after succulent breasts.
Flee innocence before you turn prey

LOVE RAIN

From where did this love spring?
For the drought was here just yesterday

Seasons change
And so do hearts
Even frozen ice melt to heat
So why won't fortified fortresses break to persistent beats?

The Puppet

I feel for you

When I look at you

Being pulled everywhere

Attached with strings of blood, friendship

And strange relationship

Dragged along like a submissive child

Into the shadows oftentimes and the dark

To do what you should not

To be something you are not

People can be so cruel

When they touch you in places forbidden

When they make you feel dirty

You do not protest

You say not a word

When they  leave you sick

And with horrible dreams

You suffer in silence

You are dying in silence

Why do you stay true?

To people who are so cruel

Break free from their rule

You are no man's puppet

You can have a life without the cover of darkness

You can quit from living in this madness

Why do you stay?

When you can come away

Each time I see you

I hurt for you

I wish to help you

I am angry for you

My heart bleeds

It pleads with you

I pray for you

I wish you would believe this is true

That the world is not as dark everywhere as you see it

I wish you could see the silver in the cloud and grasp it

I wish you could leave the fake comfort and forget it

I know you can break free from their chains and be rid of it

You can fly with the winds do you believe it

You have been so abused

That you are bemused

When someone dares to say

You are perfect

You cannot imagine that someone would want you

But you are perfect

You are the perfect case

For God's grace

Though you feel shame

The Father does not feel same

He adores to have you

He knows your name

You see you are perfect

You may not understand

But it not about where you now stand

But where you can stand

If you understand

That you are wanted

And that you are perfect

Perfect enough for Christ to die for you

Perfect enough to be His bride

It is true

You are His delight

Yes you

I feel for you

Do you understand?

I wish you will take a stand

Or do you like where you stand?

Help me understand

Cos I don't understand

How you can be free

But still choose to be 

everyman's puppet!

A FRIEND FORGOTTEN

JESUS CHRIST died for all men. All the goodness we obtain in life is from Him. Scriptures makes us to understand that it is in Him we move and have our being. Sometimes we get so busy that we forget Him. Sometimes we think so much of our own interest and deliberately push Him aside because we want to have our way. If there is any friend you are ready to let go off it should not be Jesus because He has suffered so much just for our sake. Please remember that friend who took your place and died for you to live. And when you do remember Him, do treat Him right. Also, do give others the chance to know Him by telling them about Him so their lives will also be transformed for good. Pause and think about this!

SURVIVING AS THE FITTEST

Mr. Seidu is his name and everyone knows he is a difficult person to get along with. So when I got to know he was going to be my team leader for my current assignment I felt so much  disappointed. How was I going to survive being under such a man who would easily get upset over nothing and someone who was so loud? How was I going to function under a man who saw imperfection in others more than in himself? But then I had no choice than to succumb to the powers that be that had placed me under his authority.

The first day I was supposed to meet with him, my fears about him were confirmed. After frantic efforts to reach him failed, I was finally honored with a response from him. He was willing to meet me if I could make it early enough.  Not wanting any trouble,I left everything I was doing and rushed to the location he gave only to be forced to wait for him because another person was with him. What I thought would be a short while turned into hours of waiting. At last, it got to my turn to see him but then he  called off our meeting and rescheduled it for another day. I managed to keep my cool outward though I was really fuming on the inside. What a waste he had made of my day. But he looked like he was enjoying everything going on. I wondered what in the world would make a man delight in another man's suffering.  As for the colleague he had attended to, he told me right after his meeting that he had decided to quit the team since he couldn't take Mr. Seidu frustrations anymore.

Did I also quit?
Often in life, there are people who will frustrate you till you are brought to a point where you may want to quit what you are doing just to have your peace of mind. Decide not to quit for anybody as long as you know what you are doing and where you are going. A woman told me how she quit school when she was young to go into trading because a teacher had been harsh towards her. She regrets that she could not read now.

I have had to readjust myself to accommodate a lot of things in life instead of quitting when pushed to the wall. I am determined to be among those who survive as fittest. What about you? When life hits you hard inviting you to quit, know that it is one of life's means of determining who is worthy to progress  to the next level. Be like a tree which refuses to be uprooted by the force of just any wind. Don't easily quit but be among those who always #survive #as #the #fittest.

BE INSPIRING

Do you get excited when you see successful people? I do because they inspire me a lot, especially those who were born with no silver spoons in their mouths. When I see people who have been able to make something out of their lives it gives me the feeling that I can also achieve something with mine. That is the main reason you should not give up on your dreams. Someone takes their inspiration from you. If you are able to accomplish yours you will give others the courage to do same. If you give up, they also will.

TWINS

I like twins. One day I hope to have some. Do you? They are so fascinating to look at, an exact copy of each other sometimes. I am just thinking about how it would feel to have an exact copy of myself on the earth. But do you know that consciously or unconsciously you are being replicated all over the place? People pick up what they like about you and try to do the same thing, especially children. And if you would be honest with yourself then answer this, would you be happy seeing another you walking the earth? I mean the whole you including everything? Would you be happy living with you? Think about this? Very soon, you will meet yourself and I hope you will like who you meet!
